Declining
$700.00
This two part piece is a watercolor and pen piece mounted to salvaged wood. A black and white painting meant to be serene and somber is accompanied by a panel of 11,422 marks. ~11,000+ sharks are killed each HOUR. Because of pressures from the finning industry, bycatch, beauty companies, and more sharks face the steepest decline the species have ever seen.
This piece is meant to convey the beauty of sharks, but the reality of what they face. It is 21”x14”x1/4” and can be hung with nails.
